Hi,
Is it normal that 7055-D cannot provide more than 410 mA of current? For 430 mA output voltage of my unit drops below 4V. The USB hub which powers the isolator can provide more than 1A over the usb port.

Re: 7055-D current capacity for DC-DC converter
The DC-DC controller max output is 500 mA. However, the circuit on the secondary side must also be supplied with that power which is about 90 mA.
If you need more current, you must use the AUX port. This is galvanically connected to the secondary side.

Thx, it aligns with my observation. I use aux power for my purposes but I've tried once to power a device with a known demand for current of almost 500 mA and it couldn't boot when powered directly by 7055-D.
