LED Blinks in other way than data sheet states

Post by MichaelS »

Hello,

We have a 7054-X installed into our device to provide isolation with Hi-speed communication.
Sporadically we observe a lock-up. The keyboard connected through this isolator is not being recognised.
Also, the blink code seems to be different than any described in the datasheet. It is: flash - double flash - flash - double flash - and so on.
What is this one say?
I can provide a video, but there is no direct upload option on this forum.
EDIT:
I have uploaded the video on youtube: [External Link Removed for Guests]

It looks to me that it's locked in a loop between suspend and wake-up. This is not normal and probably caused by a transient burst. There are burst-hardened firmware versions available that we tweaked for higher levels in IEC 61000-4-4 in medical applications.

To discuss this further, please contact us directly by the web form at [External Link Removed for Guests] with reference to this forum.
