Any reason for upgrade from a 7054 to newer model?

Hi, I am new to this forum but has been happily using the older industrial version 7054 USB 2.0 model of Intona for audio purpose (connecting between my Raspberry Pi 4 through USB to Intona 7054 to my DAC. My understanding is 7054 can withstand up to 1kv while the newer models (7054X) or the newer USB 3.0 models can withstand up to 2.5kv. From a purely audio quality stand point, is there any reason(s) for me to consider upgrading to a newer model, will I expect to hear any differences/improvements or it really depends how much noise originated from the Raspberry Pi 4?

Thanks

Deric

There won't be any difference with the RPi4. The main difference to the -X model (other than isolation voltage) is that the -X has highly qualified parts that are suitable for harsh industrial or medical environments. It's understandable that this makes a difference in value for hi-end audiophile operation but I doubt that this counts with the RPi.
