Re: Cannot maintain connection with audio analyzer

First, the USB 2.0 portion is the same in all 7055 models: isolation voltage is 5kV RMS and there is no intentional capacitive coupling. Isolation is granted between DC and GHz range (limited by the parasitic capacitance that is everywhere in nature and defined by clearance and air gap which is indu...

Re: Cannot maintain connection with audio analyzer

The APx series is known to be a bit flimsy when it comes to analog coupled, redriven 3.0 wires. This is what the 7055-C does. I suggest that you replace your isolator by the 7055-D model. This has true digital, optical, protocol-aware isolation. Another quick solution is to use the USB 2.0 portion o...

It looks to me that it's locked in a loop between suspend and wake-up. This is not normal and probably caused by a transient burst. Re: INTONA USB 3.0 isolator can't work with oyaide 5S V2 USB cable

The isolator needs USB compliant cables. Often, "audiophile grade" cables have the screen or even the ground wire disconnected on one side. This is not compliant at all and this cannot work with galvanic isolation because the isolator breaks the shielding and ground by design and doing this twice is...

Short answer: does only work with hubs in between. Long answer: doing transparent isolation requires utilization of a complete USB packet frame (side note: this is the reason why you need 100% USB compliant hardware for both host and device). Connecting two isolators in chain would violate the packe...

Transit time is 2-4 working days. We always ship by UPS Express. I recommend the 7055-B for your system as it has the highest isolation vs. (low) noise floor. But you are not limited to a specific model. All Intona isolators, even those with USB 3.0, will work in your system. USB 3.0 is (if properly...

It's interesting to me that your DAC's THD+N measures less than 0.0001%. This is below -120 dB which is not only remarkable but to my knowledge certainly beyond physical limits, even at a BW of 20 kHz. Would you mind sharing more details about this? It just sounds awesome!

Hi Andy, if you are sensitive on the supply rails and are looking for least noise there, the 7055-C is proven to be the most silent. If you are looking for highest overall isolation (so with least parasitic capacitance), you are best with 7055-B. You need to decide yourself at the end, which one is ...
